She was predeceased by: her parents, William Welker and Rachel Welker (Jones); and the father of her children James R. Alexander Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Linda Garrison of Anderson, Jim Alexander Jr. (Sandy) of Anderson, Bill Alexander (Jan) of Anderson, David Alexander (Melissa) of North Pole and Jennifer Coots of Anderson; and her adoptive daughter Lois Brown (Lee) of Virginia. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She volunteered for RSVP.
