She was predeceased by: her daughter Julie Light; her parents, Marion Shimer and Margaret Shimer; and her brother Thomas Shimer. She is survived by: her son James Patterson (Lou); her grandchildren, Brenden Light (Penny), Tyler Light, Shane Light, Margo Light and Aaron Light; her stepgrandchildren, Chelsey Dill and Ceirstin Dill; and her son-in-law Paul Light. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
