She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank DeLong and Cassie DeLong; her husband James Huston Edwards; her daughter Valerie Jo Edwards; and her siblings, Lawrence DeLong, Anna Dailey, Kenneth E. DeLong and Frank DeLong, Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Robert DeLong and Christopher Edwards (Martie); her grandchildren, David Renner, Alexis Edwards, Lryic Edwards, Houston Edwards and Jewel Edwards; her great grandchild Gavin Kelly; and her siblings, Katherine Hamm, Norma Murdock and David DeLong (Kay). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
