She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Lova Marie Thomas (Trick); her husband Donald Summers; her daughter Joy Lyne Summers; and her son-in-law BJ Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Ellis of Anderson and Don Summers (Kelly) of Alexandria; and her grandchildren, Tricia Clarkson (Jeff), Amy Darlington (Andy), Julie Hutton (Bill), Jeff Summers (Jenny), Megan McNally Weaver (Baron) and Morgan Remington. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
