He was predeceased by: his parents, Clure Westmoreland and Leada Westmoreland (Walker); his wife Mary; his daughter Martha Boles; his siblings, Cullum and Marie Wells; his in-laws, John and Belle Phillips (Harvey); his sister Myrtle; his brother-in-law Horton Moore; and his son-in-law Sam Boles.

He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Wright (Rondal) and Marsha Savage (Jerry); his grandchildren, Michael Wright (Amanda), Shane Savage (Cindy), Lisa Kercher (Kirk), Richard Faucett (Brian), Shawna Miller (Adam), Kasheala May and Aaron Boles (Sabrina); his great grandchildren, Annalisa, Brett, Ashley Kercher, Elijah Wright, Kali and Ayla Savage; his brothers, Hurbert Westmoreland (Robajean) of Alabama, Roy Westmoreland (Demple) of Tennessee, Jimmy Westmoreland (Peggy) of Tennessee and David Westmoreland (Helen) of Tennessee; his sister-in-law Maranda Phillips of Tennessee; and his close friend Darlene Ball. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
