She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion D. Blackmon and Aver Blackmon (Hendrix); her husband Rudolph C. Brown; and her children, Brenda McIlrath and Marcus Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Clay (Jim) of Ingalls; her children-in-law, James "Butch" McIlrath of Middletown and Terri Brown of Anderson; and her close friend Faye Knight. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association of Alzheimer's Association.
