He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Swango and Lula Swango; and his siblings, Melvin "Bud" Swango, Frances Swango Armstrong, Myrtle Swango Baxter, Marlston Swango and Gilbert "Gib" Swango.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Swango (Martinez); his son Vincent Swango (Carol); his grandchildren, Brooke Swango (Keith MacDonald), Jason Hammons (Makenzie) and Vaughan Swango (Molly); his great grandchildren, Kylin Hammons, Indica Swango, Layla Hammons and Elliana Hammons; and his brother Dorville Swango. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to any Little League Organization or Anderson High School for their sports programs.
