She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Smith and Veva Smith; her husband Robert York; and her siblings, Wilma Beatty and Gerald Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Rose (Herb), Milena Nasir and Claudia Fink (John); and her grandchildren, Steven Reeves (Kim), Vincent Reeves, James Rose, Ronald Rose, Jeff Long (Carrie), Rachel McGuire (Aaron), Andrea Harris (Walter), Adrian Fink and Carmen Hannock (Jason). She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory (200 W 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Miller's Cemetery (5954-5998 W County Rd 850 N, Middletown, IN 47356).
