She was predeceased by: her son David Bowland; her brother Mike Howard; and her grandson David Bowland. She is survived by: her husband Gene; her children, Terry Bowland (Lucy) of Amboy, Steve Bowland (Debra) of Amboy, Jerry Bowland (Marsha) of Amboy, Jeffry Bowland (Julie) of Kokomo and Kenneth Bowland of Olive Branch; her siblings, Lois Kelley (Charles) of Sweetser, Patricia Gabler (Dale) of Lincoln and John Howard (Loretta) of Amboy; and her grandchildren, Ryan Bowland, Tracy, Kevin Bowland (Christy), April Childers (Dennis), Rebecca Bowland, Jason Bowland (Lelia), Haley Bowland, Melissa Wolfe (Jason), Michael Bowland (Sara) and Lindsay Bolinger. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made through Laird-Eddy Funeral home to the Disabled American Veterans Organization.
