With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John O'Brien of Amboy, Indiana, who passed away on December 12, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John O'Brien to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O'Brien and Dorothy O'Brien (Hamilton); his former wife Linda J. O'Brien (Eltzroth); his sisters, Marybelle, Melba and Becky; and his granddaughter Christine Ostrander.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie O'Brien (Gingerich) of Amboy; his children, Patricia Sharp of Ft. Wayne, Chris O'Brien of Warren, IN, Laura Ostrander (Peter) of Beaver Dam, WI, Debbie O'Brien of Swayzee and Marie Herschberger (LaVon) of Wauseon, OH.; and his siblings, Roberta Barkley of Newton, IL and Robert O'Brien (Frances) of Glenwood, AR.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.

Face masks are required to enter the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, PO Box 289, Sweetser, IN 46987.
