It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald E. Smith of Amboy, Indiana, born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Smith and Harriett Gates Smith; his son Donald S. Smith; and his siblings, George Wendell Smith, Doris Kaye Wilkens and Lola Elaine Akers.

He is survived by: his wife Glenna I. Smith; his children, Wendell Smith of Ft. Wayne and Vicki Hall (Matthew) of Winchester, VA; his grandchildren, Samuel Hall and Katherine Hall; and his brother-in-law Randy Smith (Marjorie) of Hartford City, IN..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
