She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Bowland and Emma Bowland (Myers); her husband John Hudson; and her siblings, Raymond Bowland, Woodrow Bowland, Wayne Bowland, Russell Bowland, Eugene Bowland, Violet Lowe, Dorothy Rose, Mary Fisher, Ann Roseberry, Patsy Bennett, Carol Bowland and Virginia Rohrer.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Hudson (Dana) of Amboy, IN, Douglas Hudson (Shelley) of Mexico, IN, Ellen Purdy (Ethan) of Marion, IN, Lisa Palmer (Ed) of Burlington, NJ and Teresa Hovermale (Adrian) of Converse, IN; her grandchildren, Donnie Hudson (Chuck), Shanda Shoemaker (Chris), Luke Ramirez (Chris), Joel Hudson (Alecia), Brittney Creager (Aaron), Erin Purdy, Matthew Palmer and Brett Palmer; and her siblings, Betty Hodson, Waneta Levensky and Jim Bowland. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
