He is survived by: his spouse Shirley (Gholson); his children, Aletha Steiner (Larry) of Fowler, Tim Sondgerath (Glenna) of Tarpon Springs, FL, Gail Scherer (Bob) of Fowler, Chris Sondgerath (Marilee) of Climax, MI, Brad Sondgerath (Jodi) of Kentland, Dawn Halsema (Dan) of Greenville and Bridget Santon (Scott) of Lafayette; his siblings, Jean Sondgerath of Otterbein, Marian Brown (Dale) of Lafayette, Bette Brown of Lafayette and Bill Sondgerath (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Barb Atha of Lafayette and Bernard Krebs of Otterbein. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many more family members.
