He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Keith, and Vena L. Keith, Jr.; and his sister Gwen Hartly. He is survived by: his wife Karen Keith; his children, Kristin Edwards (Michael), Brittany Wise (Patrick) and Walter B. Keith, IV; his brother Ross Keith (Debbi); and his grandchildren, Miles, Camden, Madeline, Abigail and Sofia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
