He was predeceased by: his parents, Alger Cowart and Vinnie Cowart (Crow); his former wife Linda Sue Cowart; his grandchildren, Courtney Sizelove and Scott James Rhea; his siblings, Joy Mack, H. B. Cowart, Floyd Cowart and Dean Cowart; his niece Sheila Davis; and his nephew Dean Cowart.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Sayre Cowart; his children, Renee' Sizelove-Summitville (Randy), Rhonda Mattox (Joe Wolfe), Robert Sayre (Deneen) of Alexandria and Randy Sayre (Karen) of Alexandria; and his grandchildren, Ashley Smith (Tracey), Corey Sizelove (Brittani), Heather Fields (Jake), Brook Gregg (Tony), Terry Sayre (Jessica) and Chelsea Rhea. He is also survived by 12 Great-Grandchildren Several nieces and nephews.
