It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Courtney (Alexandria, Indiana), born in Straughn, Indiana, who passed away on March 1, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Riggle and Hazel Riggle; her husband William B. Courtney; her brother Gerald Riggle; and her stepson William Courtney.
She is survived by: her children, Courtney Body Shop, Debra Heater (Larry) of Anderson, Jan McLain of Alexandria, Lavonna Coppock (Darren) of Morgantown, Sheila Malicoat (Bart) of Alexandria, Rick Courtney (Debbie) of Breeding, KY, Jerry Courtney (Trudi) of Pendleton, Benton Courtney (Lisa) of Breeding, KY, Bill Courtney (Tami) of Muncie and Donald "Dude" Courtney (Leslie) of Anderson; her great great grandchildren, Wyatt and Reid; her stepchildren, Judith Warner (Russ) of Colmesneil, TX, Nancy Courtney of Fishers and Russell Courtney (Rita) of Greenwood; her siblings, Dale of New Castle, Phyliss McCubbins (Jack) of New Castle and Janet Hughes (Jim) of New Castle; and her sister-in-law Liz Riggle of New Lisbon. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
