He is survived by: his wife Cinda Pierce (Shaffer); his daughter Leanna Whitwell (Jeff) of Murfreesboro; his grandchildren, Dane Whitwell of Tennessee and Samantha Whitwell of Tennessee; and his brother William "Bill" Pierce of Alexandria.
