He is survived by: his wife Cinda Pierce (Shaffer); his daughter Leanna Whitwell (Jeff) of Murfreesboro; his grandchildren, Dane Whitwell of Tennessee and Samantha Whitwell of Tennessee; and his brother William "Bill" Pierce of Alexandria.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Park View Cemetery (1101 S Park Ave, Alexandria, IN 46001).
