Ralph Carpenter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Carpenter of Alexandria, Indiana, born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rush R. Carpenter and Lessie Carpenter (Alexander); his brothers, Harold Carpenter and Horice Carpenter; and his sons, Robert Carpenter, Jeffrey Carpenter, David Carpenter, Mark Carpenter and Eric Carpenter.

He is survived by: his daughter Marianne Tipton of Elwood; his sister Carol Kleyla (Monty) of Elwood; his sister-in-law Virginia Carpenter of Elwood; his grandchildren, Megan Bogard-Gettelfinger (John) of Carmel, Miles Davis (Sarah) of Elwood, Mitchell Davis of Elwood, Mark Carpenter, Jr. of Georgia and Clinton Carpenter (Holly) of Montpelier; and his daughter-in-law Rhonda Carpenter.

Health precautions for the safety of the family and visitors will include wearing face coverings and social distancing at the cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Missionary Baptist Church through the funeral home.
