She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Frankie" Swift and Martha "Maybelle" Miller Swift (Hartwell); her grandparents, Howard Berl, Addie Hartwell, Michael and Ada Miller (Wilson); her brother Don Nabb; her stepfather James Swift; her children-in-law, Larry Melton and Mary Townsend; her great grandchild Kooper Townsend; and her brother Michael J. Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Peg Melton of Benton, AR, Steve Townsend (Terrie) of Lafayette, IN, Stan Townsend of Noblesville, IN and Carla Hessler (Larry) of Benton, AR.; her grandchildren, Christopher Beeman (Milissa), Joshua Townsend, Angela Smeltzer (Mark), Charles Stafford, Wesley Townsend (Tracy), Nichole Townsend, David Townsend (Jaime), Jason Hessler (Brytni), Jonelle Cook (Josh), Wyatt Hooker (Sonia) and Zachary Morgan Lee; and her sisters, Frances Lucille Langston (Marion), Timmonsville and Anita Bagwell (Mike).
