She was predeceased by: her parents, James Reed and Geneice Ponder; and her brother Rick Stevens. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Shafer of Alexandria; her stepsons, Zach Shafer and Cody Shafer; and her siblings, Otis Jacobson, Vickie Jacobson, John Martin Jacobson, Betty Vandiver, Georgeanna Smith and George Ponder.
