With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mara Jo (Vollenhals) Maxwell in Alexandria, Indiana, who passed away on July 6, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Vollenhals and Mabel Vollenhals (Tomlinson); and her siblings, Russell Vollenhals, Earl Vollenhals, Rick Vollenhals, Marilyn Cox and Jean Ann O'Bryant.
She is survived by: her husband Billy J. Maxwell; her children, Paula Garrett-Frankton (Melvin), Tammy Bronner-Gaston (Bill) and Jack Woods-Alexandria (Pat); her stepson Vance Maxwell-Pendleton (Patty); her siblings, Rhea Colleen McCorkle, Rita Sue Van Blair (Lewis) and Jerry Vollenhals-Alexandria; and her granddaughter Kaitlin King. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren.
