She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Semon and Juanita Smith (Custer); her husband Bill Burton; her children, Max, Howard "Skip" Burton and Ruth Walpher; and her siblings, Beverly Kessler and Clifford Semon Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Billy Burton (Sandy), Randy Burton (Debbie) of Elwood, Theresa Niccum (Jerry) of Elwood, Deloris Amos of Elwood, Katherine Wolfe (Don) of Marion and Linda Burton of Alexandria; and her half-sister Myra Gillespie. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; several step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
