He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jr. Mitchell and Madge Beverly Mitchell (Lowe); his wife Mindy Mitchell; and his grandparents, Myrtle Brenner (Jack), James and Alois Mitchell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Vanbuskirk (Robert) of Anderson and Ashley Mitchell of Anderson; his siblings, Michael Thompson-Anderson, Keith Thompson-Alexandria and Jamie Hughes-Alexandria (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jordan, Tamera, Amaryana and Tarik Jr.; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by Several cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.
