He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Carroll and Elsie Carroll (Weaver); his siblings, Phil Carroll, Dave Carroll and Carol Sue Mead; and his granddaughter Darci Carroll.
He is survived by: his children, Penny Stevens (Steve), Marty Carroll (Kelly) and Ed Carroll (Michelle); his grandchildren, Leigh Bivens (Clint), Lana Nichols (Duston), Kylee Allman (Ryan), Landon Carroll (Autumn), Lance Carroll (Mallory), Layton Carroll, Hattie Carroll, Jordan Taylor and Jarrett Small; and his siblings, Lee Carroll and Cheryl Carroll. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
