He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe L. Bassett and Mildred Bassett (McCarty); and his brother Larry Bassett. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Bassett (Harris); and his sons, Greg Bassett (Christina), Chris Bassett (Alexis) and Tim Bassett (Rebecca). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
