He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Padgett and Norma Padgett (Fisher); his wife Judith Padgett (Detienne); his stepdaughter Lorraine Wyant; his brother Charles Padgett (Sarah); and his brother-in-law John Detienne.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Padgett of Anderson, Teresa Padgett of Anderson, Becki Dickey-Wilkinson (Tony) and Jimmy Padgett-Goshen (Carla); his stepchildren, April Wyant (Tony Lello), Lary Wyant-Lapel, Wayne Wyant, Karl Wyant (Lydia) and Victor Wyant (Gabriella Perez Carrillo); and his brothers, Lyle Padgett-Sheridan (Robin) and Lee Padgett-ConverseSeveral.
