He was predeceased by: his parent Margaret Ryan (Rush); and his siblings, Tom Ryan, Terry Ryan, Bill Ryan, Martha Meeks and Sue Ryan.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy Ryan (Prophet); his children, Amy Stephens (Mark) of Anderson, Stephen Ryan (April) of Alexandria and Jamie Ryan of Frankton; and his grandchildren, Cody Ryan, Taylor Robinson (Andrew), Nathaniel Ryan (Hannah), Gabriel Ryan (Michelle), Israel Ryan (Brittany), Autumn DeLey, Larissa Scott (Ryan), Savanna Paddock (Todd), Ryan Paddock, Shaina Stephens (Jake) and Alaina Beckley (Ricky). He is also survived by 16 Great-Grandchildren.
