With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert L. Hobbs of Alexandria, Indiana, born in Tipton, Indiana, who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Hobbs and Naomi Hobbs (Newton); and his brothers, Lowell Hobbs and Gerald Hobbs. He is survived by: his grandson Assistant Scoutmaster; his wife Ruthann Hobbs (Frazier); his children, Randall Hobbs (Nena) and Vicki Beaty; his grandsons, Gregory Scott (Victor) and Roger Hobbs (Ali); his great grandchildren, Donna Hobbs, Roark Hobbs, Quinlan Hobbs and Aftyn Hobbs; his granddaughter April Phillips (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Corban Phillips and Caelyn Phillips; his granddaughter Amanda Miller (Jesse); his great grandchildren, Maggie Miller and Nathaniel Miller; his granddaughter Heather Petty (Adrian); his great grandchildren, Mallory Petty, Madison Petty, McCallister Petty and MaraNova Petty; and his siblings, John Hobbs (Phyllis), Judy Tharp and Lelia Douglass. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
In the interest of public safety, the Hobbs family is suggesting attendees wear masks and practice social distancing.
