She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Whisenhunt and Evie Whisenhunt (Golden); and her husband William Perkins. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Evelyn Gaines (Ed) of Alexandria and Gloria Kay Adair of Alexandria; her grandsons, Anthony Darling (Ann Marie), Adrian Darling, Shane Darling (Aimee), David Gaines (DeeDee) and Clay Gaines (Kristie); and her great grandchildren, Clayton, Brianna, Madyson, Rylee, Sydney, Tyler, Abby, Ashley, Austin, Allie of Arynn, AJ, Dustin, Evan, Preston and Caitlyn. She is also survived by 11 Great-Great Grandchildren.
