We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2022, at the age of 73, Gene Floyd Lewis of Alexandria, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd E. Lewis and Eve Lewis (McLean); his sister Cindy Lewis; and his grandson C. J. Saunders. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Lewis (Charles) of Alexandria; his children, Carla Freeman (Scott) of North Carolina, Michelle Cox (Kyle Gibson) of North Webster, Philip "PJ" DiEgidio (Carol) of Pennsylvania, Michael DiEgidio of Anderson, Christina Saunders (Chet) of Lapel and Chris Lewis of Anderson; his grandchildren, Cody Freeman, Cole Freeman, Landon Cox, P. Reid Cox, Jeffrey DiEgidio (Abigail), Brittney DiEgidio, Levi Lewis and Noah Lewis; and his brother Richard Lewis (Jeanice) of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
