He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred B. Sloan and Mary H. Sloan (Kemp); his sons, Kenneth Sloan and Richard Sloan; his son-in-law Terry Tinsley; his siblings, Glen Sloan and Betty Sandlin; and his grandchildren, Gerald Tinsley and Sherry Marlow.
He is survived by: his spouse Charlene Sloan (Beouy); and his children, Paul Sloan, Ruth Ann Ancil (Russell), Elaine Marlow (Steve) and Patricia Tinsley. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent the Vermillion Friends Church in care of the funeral home.
