He is survived by: his wives, Carolyn Kilgore and Margie Maxey Knotts; his children, Dennis Maxey (Doris) and Dianna Campbell (Russ); his sister Maxine Morton of New Castle; his daughters, Kathy Harlan (Mike) of Anderson and Sally Hunter (Jeff) of Gallatin, TN; his grandchildren, Brian Thompson (Claudia), Derek Hunter, Dana Kim (Steve) and Drew Hunter; his great grandchildren, Diego Thompson and Carolyn Kim; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Johnson, Janet Kilgore and Betty Kilgore. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
