She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Smith and Edith Smith (Bradley); her parents-in-law, Charley and Retha Rushing (Ward); her husband James Rushing; her son John Rushing; her grandchildren, Andrew Rushing, David Harville, Tiffany Harville and Chelsea Levell; her siblings, Don Smith, Doyle Smith, Johnny Smith and Lorene Gattis; and her son-in-law Phillip Dockrey.
She is survived by: her children, Freda Dockrey-Alexandria, Sue Gates (John), Phyllis Rushing (Mike Finch), James Rushing (Lisa) of Alexandria, Richard Rushing of Alexandria, Charles Rushing of Alexandria, William Rushing (Jessica) of Alexandria, Robert Rushing (Theresa) of Alexandria, Joseph Rushing-Portland (Deborah), Sherman Rushing-Elwood (Shirletta) and Danny Rushing-Summitville (Kimberly); her sisters, Carolyn Shelton-Mt and Giva Coleman (Jerry); and her sisters-in-law, Faye Smith and Betty Rushing. She is also survived by 39 Grandchildren, 53 Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandson.
