He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Starr and Hazel Starr (Douglas); and his siblings, David Michael Starr and Carrollee Allen. He is survived by: his wife Shaling Starr; and his children, Lorrie Duan (Jerry), Daniel Starr, Gregory Starr-Alexandria and Emily Starr-Indianapolis. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests paying a meal forward for someone, as Don enjoyed doing the same thing.
