He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold M. Southard and Betty Southard (Barkdull); his wife Nila Southard (Fadely); and his grandson Jonathon Southard. He is survived by: his sons, Mike Southard (Suella) of Alexandria, Rick Southard (Kay) of Liberty Center, Dennis Southard of Alexandria and Jeff Southard (Carol) of Bluffton; his grandchildren, Robin, Billy Blue, Mikey, Jason, Mitchell, Jennifer, Dennis Jr., Lauren and Dalton; and his sister-in-law Marie Southard. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
