It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ardella S. McCord (Alexandria, Indiana), born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on December 7, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Truitt and Deloris Truitt (Paxton); and her sister Nina Owens. She is survived by: her children, Carla Diedring (Henry) of Anderson and Tony McCord (Kathy) of Pendleton; her grandchildren, April Dock (Ryan), Clinton McCord (Shauna) and Caitlynn Conner (Kurt); her great grandchild Barrick McCord; and her pet Casino. She is also survived by one niece and nephew, several great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Humane Society.
