It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonja Schmidt (Albion, Indiana), who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Romeo Fiorini and Wilma Fiorini (Goodin); her former husband James Rigdon; her spouse Russell Schmidt; her brothers, Romeo "Junior" Fiorini Jr., Robert "Bob" Fiorini and Ron Fiorini; and her close friend Robert "Bob" Jankowski.
She is survived by: her children, Neal Rigdon, Debra Buford of Mishawaka, Janet Russell of Rochester and Kevin Rigdon (Alicia) of Holly Hills, FL.; her grandchildren, David, Nikki, Matt, Joe, Koty, Kailyn, Antonio and Stephanie; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Brian and Preston.
