He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wolfe and Goldie Wolfe (Black); his daughters, Mona Witham, Pamela Prouty, Sharon Woody and DeAnn Coleman; and his siblings, Ned Wolfe, Charles "Chuck" Wolfe, Harry "Tom" Wolfe, Elizabeth Wolfe, Ima Jean Perkins, Vivian Richards and Lela Roberts.

He is survived by: his wife Ellen Godfrey; and his daughters, Vicky Lynn Baxter and Elizabeth Myers (Scott). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
