It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marion Halferty of Albion, Indiana, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Iden Halferty and Belva Halferty (Workman); and his wife Nancy Reed. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Halferty (Sandy) of Wolcottville, Matt Halferty (Cathy) of Garrett, Richard Halferty (Laura) of Sumter, Cindy Gaff of Rome City and Connie Owens of Wolcottville; his siblings, Lynn and Vivian; and his grandsons, Jonny Owens and Clayton Gaff. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harper Funeral Homes - Albion Chapel (771 Trail Ridge Rd, Albion, IN 46701). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Bud's memory may be made to Ligonier Christian Church.
