He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Stetler and Bessie Stetler (Throop); his wife Dolores; his son Kim Lavon; and his siblings, Blaine Stetler, Marilyn Ellet and Kathryn.

He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Irelan (Mike) of Toccoa, GA and Judy Gordon (Perry) of Albion; and his brothers, Neal Stetler and Noel Stetler of Fremont. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
