He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Rupert and Ida Rupert (Evans); his siblings, Robert, Tom, Ralph Jr., Paul and Jane Fluke; his sister-in-law Ruth Rupert; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy McCoy; his children, Brian Rupert and Amy Schroeder (Matthew); his stepdaughters, Robin Hosford and Pamela Samuels; his grandchildren, Nicholas Schroeder, Sarah Stringfellow (Jacob), Matthew Hosford (Kaitlyn), Olivia Samuels and Ivy Samuels; his great grandchildren, Capri, Jackson Hosford and Sora Samuels; and his siblings, Greg Rupert (Deena), Ruth Waldron and Carolyn Latta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
