He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Heckman and Clara Heckman (Bell); his wife Margaret "Marge" Shroyer; and his siblings, Mae Nave, Nora Heckman, Sharon Heckman, Carolyn Heckman and Bob Heckman.
He is survived by: his stepson Mike Keller (Sonya); his children, Mike Heckman (Lynnette), Steve Heckman, David Heckman and Amanda Smith (David); his stepchildren, Dave Keller (Pam), Darla Ternet (Neal) and Margie Bridgegam; and his sister Debbie Heckman. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
