He is survived by: his mother Joyce Thomas (Krontz) of Butler; his wife Dru Thomas of Albion; his children, Donald Murphy (Amy) of Butler and Katherine "Katie" Mort (Chris Guthrie) of Kendallville; his grandchildren, Lexus Murphy, Raven Murphy, Devin Heath, Brianna Guthrie and Faith Guthrie; his great grandchildren, Ady, Lilah, Caden and Kohan; and his siblings, Michael Thomas, Elizabeth Austin (John), Christine Passmore and Jane Thomas.
