He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Pensinger and Mary Pensinger (Nixson); his sons, Thomas Pensinger, Richard "Dick" Hatton and James "Jim" Yenna; and his brothers, Bill Pensinger, John and James Pensinger.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Pensinger; his son Rev. Robert; his daughter-in-law Doris Yenna; his daughter Linda; his son-in-law Bill Wagler; his brother Steve; and his sister-in-law Mary Jane Pensinger. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3 to 6 p. m. Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City with his funeral service at 6 p. m. Face masks are required for attendance.
