He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Harris; his sons, Richard Broom of Arcola, Keith Broom (Angela) of Warren and Darrell Broom (Jennifer) of Albion; and his sister Sharon Jones (Dewey) of Huntington. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
