She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Haviland and Pearl Haviland (Christlieb); her husband Lee J. Harlan; her children, Ronnie Harlan, Carol Becker and Terry Pippenger; and her siblings, Falconer "Bus" Bergstrom, Richard "Dick" Haviland, Fred Haviland, Warren "Bill" Haviland and Lola Carper.
She is survived by: her children, Lana Messer (Flem) of Wawaka, Kay Amanda Swickard of Ft. Wayne, Bill Harlan of Topeka and Mike Harlan of Cosperville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
