It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Hugh Stangland (Albion, Indiana), who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay P. Stangland and Mary A. Stangland (Starkey); his daughter Sherry Lynne Bontrager; and his brother Rex Stangland. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Berkes; his daughters, Kim Stump (Kevin) of Albion and Daphne Stevenson (Doug) of Valparaiso; his grandchildren, Emily Uebler (J. D.), Trisha Rouch (Dan), Abby Harrity (Justin), Tyler Stevenson (Kara), Michelle Alexander (Zach), Mitchell Stevenson (Adrienne), Allison Stevenson and Laurel Stevenson; his sister Sue Johnson of Greenfield; and his son-in-law Kevin Bontrager of Nappanee. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
