He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Bitting and Emeline Bitting (Beezley-Thorn); and his sister Sally Bitting. He is survived by: his wife Charla Sherman; his children, Kelly Elias (Matt) of Albion, Brandon Bitting (Jane) of Albion and Michael Geradot (Angie) of Columbia City; his sisters, Mary Castle of Erie and Barbara Lockett of Wichita, Kansas; his grandchildren, Tyler Siewek (Morgan), Cameron, Ryker Elias, Weston Jackson, Colton Geradot, Bayley Siewek (Dan Tieman) and Morgan Geradot; his great grandchildren, Liliana, Colstyn Siewek, Hudson, Jonah and Jade Tieman; and his nephew Jeremy Lockett (Janet).
