It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Belle McMurray of Albion, Indiana, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Webster Pierce and Ruby Pierce (Merriman); her husbands, William Bushong and Bernard McMurray; her children, Lana Mountz Tumbelson and James Bushong; her stepdaughters, Judy Olinger and Virginia DeWitt (David); her sister-in-law Mary Jane Pierce; and her great grandchild Dakota Bushong.
She is survived by: her daughter Mindy Collazo (John); her daughter-in-law Carol Bushong of Goshen, Indiana.; her grandchildren, John Mountz (Patricia), Jennifer Strack, Brad Mountz (Amanda), Phillip Bushong (Shannon), Sara Hoefer (David), Tara Manning, Andrew Bushong, Katherine Wendland and Krista Rojas (Mark); her stepsons, John McMurray (Cathy) and Charles McMurray (Beverly); and her brother Ronald Pierce of Bonita Springs, Florida. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Homes - Albion Chapel (771 Trail Ridge Rd, Albion, IN 46701). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel (771 Trail Ridge Rd, Albion, IN 46701).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Heart Nursing Home Activities Department in Avilla, Indiana.
