He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe T. Rimmel and Mary E. Rimmel (Wiley); his sisters, Jane Rimmel and Harriett Page; his granddaughter Laura Baker; and his great grandchild Olivia Iden.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene J. Rimmel; and his children, Eric Rimmel (Lisa) of Kendallville, IN, Regina Baker (Gary) of Fremont, IN, Rita Wagner (Jim), Roxanne Bodenhafer (Ron) of Rome City, IN, Rose McAfee (Dave) of Ossian, IN and Roberta Heffner (Nick) of Rome City, IN. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
